Mrs. Maxwell is a member of Mt. Gilboa Missionary Baptist Church of Bartow, Fl. She has served as church clerk for many years.
She worked as a dietician for the Polk County Schools.
She is the daughter of the late Willie Brook and the late Ethel Brooks.
She is survived by her husband Dec. John Maxwell, three daughters Sallistine Evans, Lorene Lewis and Tangelia Maxwell, five sisters Katie Franklin, Leola Gibson, Carolyn Burton, Mary White and Lessie Cokley. three brothers, Russell Brooks, Robert Brooks and James Brooks. two Grandchildren and one Great Grand-Child
Visitation 5:00PM-7:00PM Friday Oct. 15, 2010 at the funeral home. Funeral services Sat. Oct. 16, 2010 12 Noon Mt. Gilboa Missionary Baptist Church Bartow, Fl.Intermen Laurel Hill Cemetery-Mulberry, Fl.
