Walter is former Mayor for the city of Ft. Meade, Fl. as well as city commissioner. He had a genuine love for family and community. Throughout his service he was an ambassador of good will, a true friend and champion. Walter was a man of integrity who truly loved the Lord and shared the word with everyone who came into his presence. A loyal father, prayer warrior,advocate and true leader. He always gave encouragement to everyone and word of wisdom.

He is a member of St. Paul AME Church of Ft. Meade, Fl.

He was a supervisor for Mosiac Phosphate Co.for many years.

He is the son of the late Walter H. Bryant and the late Marguerite Holland.

He is survived by two daughters Pamela Bryant and Marguerite Bryant Smith two sons Walter Bryant, Jr. and Anthony Bryant one sister Emily Bryant Bell and four Grandchildren.

Visitation Fri. June 11, 2010 at the funeral home 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Funeral services Sat. June 12,2010 at 2:00PM St. Paul AME Church in Ft. Meade, Fl. Interment Palm Cemetery in Bartow, Fl.
