At an early age Troy joined First Providence Missionary Baptist Church of Bartow, Fl.
Troy enjoyed fishing and landscaping.
Troy is the son of Cleezie L. Battle and the late James L. Prather
He is survived by one son, Aveary Elbert, two daughters, Iesha Elbert and Alysha Elbert, one brother, Malcolm Battle, grandmother, Thelma Battle and three grandchildren.
Visitation Fri. Feb. 5, 2010 5PM to 7PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services Sat. 1:00PM at the funeral home. Interment Wildwood Cemetery-Bartow, Fl.
