Thomas A. (T Willie) Williams, age 72, of Bartow, FL, died Saturday, September 8, 2012, in Phenix City, Alabama.

He was the son of the late Levonie Williams and Bettie Mabel Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Harris Williams.

Siblings that preceded him in death were Belvin, Everett Lee, Daniel, Leonard, James Christine, Donia Ann, Dixie, Ernestine and Ferman.

He attended Harnett County Schools for his education and worked over thirty years at U. S. Steel in Polk County, Fl. During his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, electrical work, and watching old westerns.

He is survived by one daughter:
Vanessa Shaw, Benson, NC; three sons: Captain Tony Harris, Phenix City, AL, Tony Williams, Bartow, FL, and Thomas Williams, Bartow, FL; three sisters: Lara Davis, Dunn, NC. Levonia Martin (Jimmy), Miami, FL, and
Lue Betty Smith, Bartow, FL; one brother: Tate Plato Williams, (Evelyn), and mother in law
Patsy Harris, Bartow, Fl. He also leaves behind several grand and two great grand children.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, September 14, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at St. James AME Church 765 4th Avenue Bartow, Fl. at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 15, 2012.

Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow, FL .
