Terry Lynn Schumacher Puentes, age 63, passed away on October 14, 2021, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL. She was surrounded by her family. Terry is survived by her husband: Dr. David Puentes; sons: Mitch Humeniuk, Patrick Humeniuk (Jamie), and Jaime Puentes (Ana); sisters: Donna Trela (Gary) and Shelley Spielman (Alan); grandchildren: Tricia, Daniel, Lily, Morgan, and Peyton; and her dog Brandy. She was predeceased in death by her parents: Thomas and Mary, as well as brother Gerald.

Terry was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She moved to the United States in 1992 where she amassed a large business profile along side her husband, David. She resided in beautiful Eagle Lake, Florida. Terry enjoyed Florida's lovely weather with family in many of their coastal properties. She was a wonderful woman and mother. Terry ensured all was well with others, never putting her needs first. She was the rock of the family. It is now time for her to spend eternity in God's hands.

The family will have a Homegoing celebration and receive friends on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL.  A celebration of life service will occur at the funeral home.
