Terressa Marie Wilkerson, age 62, of Lakeland, FL, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL. She was a member of the Epic Church of Lakeland.

She was the daughter of Zeddie Hendrix (Thelma) of Miami, FL. and Ethel Simmons (John) of Lake Wales, FL. She is also survived by one daughter: Jihan Maria Tiiu Wilkerson, Lakeland, FL; one son: Anwar Wilkerson, Lakeland, FL; six sisters: Judy L. Waters (James), Atlanta, GA, Kate Jenkins, Lake Wales, FL, Deloris Ann Jones (Oscar), Lakeland, FL, Vanessa Peterson, Lake Alfred, FL, Mamie Simmons, Lake Wales, FL, Patricia Howell, Lake Wales, FL; and one brother: Nathaniel Simmons, Lake Wales, FL.


Arrangements are being handled by Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Epic Church, 1115 E. Memorial Boulevard, Lakeland, FL. Funeral service will be at Epic Church of Lakeland at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2014.

Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lakeland, FL.
