Martha Lee Scott was a member of the Mt. Gilboa Missionary Baptist Church of Bartow, Fl. She previously was a member of Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church.

She and her husband owned and operated Roy's Dinette in Bartow for over 35 years.

She was the daughter of the late Ben Edwards and the late Willie Edwards.

She is survived by her husband: Saulathia Scott, Bartow, Fl.; five daughters: Marie Thomas, Winter Haven, FL, Ossie Johnson, Wauchula, FL, Diane McLaurin, Elkins Park, PA, Martha L.(Willie) Garvin, West Palm Beach,FL, and Thelma Delois Whiters, Bowling Green, FL; one son: Marcus(Wanda) Scott, Bartow, FL; two sisters: Mary Wright, Philadelphia, PA, and Catherine Brown, Cincinnati, OH; fourteen grand children, eight great-grand children, four great-great-grand children, one godson, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, March 16, 2012 at Mt. Gilboa Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at Mt. Gilboa Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 17, 2012. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
