Latara Rue Waters, age 41, of Marietta, GA, died Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. She was the daughter of Ralf Laidler, Oakland, CA and Synthia Williams, Lakeland, FL.

She is  survived by her husband: Calvin Waters, Marietta, GA; one son: Desmond Waters, Marietta, GA; grandmother: Rebecker Rue Sailor, Lakeland, FL; step brothers:  EJ Gilmore, Cornelius Gilmore, Nija Gilmore all of Lakeland, FL; step-sister: Shanice Gilmore, Lakeland, FL; mother in law: Judy Waters, Atlanta, GA; and father in law: Elder James Waters.

Arrangements are being handled by Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, March 4, 2016.  Funeral service will be at Church of God by Faith, 129 Palmetto Avenue,  Winter Haven, FL at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 5, 2016.

Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lakeland, FL.
