John Oliver Glover, age 78, of Mulberry, FL, died Monday, December 2, 2013, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL.

Mr.Glover was employed by Polk County School Board and was a member of Mt. Zion AME Church of Mulberry.

He was the son of the late Guy Glover and the late Janie Johnson Simon. He is also survived by his wife: Ruth Glover of Mulberry, Fl; two daughters: Cheryl Lynne Glover, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Janie A. Patterson(Earl), Ft. Walton Beach, FL; two sons: Ronnie Jerome Glover, Bartow, FL, Kenneth Ray Glover(Audrey), Auburndale, FL; two step-children William Peterson(Vaughn)and Leon Peterson(Lynn); one sister Loretta Williams, Lakeland, Fl; two god children Latoya Goodwine, Bartow, Fl and Rodney Forsett, Jr., Arlington, Tx; 11 grand children, and 12 great-grand children.

The viewing will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Mt. Zion AME Church, 117 4th Avenue SW, Mulberry, Fl. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow, FL.
