Hazel Cruz, age 69, of Bartow, FL, died Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. She was a member of the First Love Church of God and Christ of Gordonville, FL.

She is survived by her husband: Vicente Cruz, Bartow, FL; two daughters: Consuela (Joel) Cruz, Lakeland, FL, Tomeika  (Adrian) Cruz McNair, Lakeland, FL; four sons: Vincente (Wanda) Cruz, Jr., Eagle Lake, FL, Antoine (Toni)   Cruz, Brandon, FL, Andre (Kristin) Cruz, Tampa, FL, Steven Powell, Winter Haven, FL; one sister: Kathy (Octavio) Leon, Bartow, FL; one brother: Terry(Diane) Powell, Lakeland, FL; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 additional on the way; a very special friend: Thelma Eroglu, New York, New York; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and other friends.

Viewing will take place at Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2020. Funeral service will be held at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1460 Seminole Trail, Bartow, FL on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow, FL.
