Eura John Polite 96 of Lakeland, FL, died Thursday, March 5, 2026, at his residence in Lakeland, FL.

Eura leaves to cherish his loving memory his children, Maurice Polite and Euranda (Polite) Link, both of Lakeland, Florida. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Marius Link (Nicole), Montay Smiley, Naisha Calloway, Dion Link (Monay), Katise Polite, and Maurice Polite, Jr. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren: Keyontate Latamore, Katariiah Bryant, Khari Stacey, Timiyahh Brooks, King Callaway, Amiyah Link, Brielle Link, Nevaeh Haygood, Enrico Link III, Bryson Link, Aaliyah Link, Callen Link, Ciana Turner, and Amiyah Turner, along with a host of extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Viewing will take place on Friday March 13, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gause Funeral Home 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL.

Funeral service will be at St. James Primitive Baptist Church, 904 SE 4th Street, Mulberry. FL.  at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 14, 2026
