Diane Delores Mikell, age 65, of Bartow, FL, died Monday, December 5, 2016, at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Lakeland, FL. She was a member of the St. James AME Church, Bartow, FL.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas Mikell and Addie Mae Mikell, Bartow, FL.. She was survived by three daughters: Anetra D. Mikell, Richmond, VA, Deanie D. Stanley, Bartow, FL, Tara S. Purnell, Bartow, FL; one son: Stephon M. Mikell, Columbus, OH; two sisters: Esther A. Williams, Viera, FL, Adeline Carter, Lakeland, FL; three brothers: Thomas J. Mikell, Jr., Schertz, TX, Gregory L. Mikell, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Carles L. Mikell, Kilean, TX; eleven grand children, and two great-grand children.
Arrangements are being handled by Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, December 12, 2016. Funeral service will be at St. James AME Church at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2016.
Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow, FL.
