Ceril Allen Burkett, age 84, of Bartow, FL passed quietly on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Kindred Hospital, Tampa, FL. "Allen" as he was affectionately called was born to the late Rev. General A. Burkett and Mrs. Mary Alice Burkett of Bartow, FL.

He is survived by his daughter: Angela (Elliott) Eley, Kansas City, MO; son, Ty Alexander of Costa Mesa, CA; two brothers: Thomas J. (Karin) Burkett, Orlando, FL and Michael A. Burkett, Los Angeles, CA; granddaughter, Jessica (Robert) Eley-Magobet, great-grandson, Bobby Magobet, Orlando, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and sorrowing relatives and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, December 16, 2022.  Funeral service will be at Burkett Chapple Primitive Baptist Church at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 17, 2022.

Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
