Catherine Roberts, age 95, of Bartow, FL, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in Bartow, FL. She was a member of the Mt. Gilboa Missionary Baptist Church in Bartow, FL. She was a homemaker, role model and mentor to many people. She  was also an active participate of Seniors on the Move. She was often referred to as Mama Catherine, Grandma, and Aunt Cat.

Preceding her in death husband, James H. Roberts.

She is survived by one Daughter: Glenethel  Collins, Bartow, FL; three Sons: Lorenzo (Ora) Dixon, Fort Worth, TX;  Jonathan Dixon, Bartow, FL; Henry Roberts, Bartow, FL; two Sisters: Mary Alice Roberts, Atlanta, GA, Margaree Simon, Bartow, FL; one Brother: Rosell Battle, Atlanta, GA; 15 Grand Children; 27 Great-Grand Children; 13 Great-Great Grand Children; and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish her memories.

Viewing will take place at Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, November 26, 2021.  Funeral service will be at Praise Temple Deliverance Church, 1010 Britts Lane, Bartow, FL at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2021. All persons attending the services must wear a face mask.

Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow, FL.
