Bobbie Lee Mitchell McKennie, age 92, of Bartow, FL, died Sunday, December 18, 2016, at home.  She was a member of the St. James AME Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Wylinda M.(Rev. J. Samuel) Johnson, Bartow, FL; one son: Forrest T. McKennie; granddaughters: Aeriale N. Johnson, Kalskag, AK, Sanaire Sade' (Cedrick) Coleman, Tampa, FL, Mikaela (Kenyon) Strother, Columbia, SC, Cesaria D. McKennie, Washington, D. C., Amalia D. McKennie, Washington, D. C.; grandson: Jamal (Candice) Johnson, Hinesville, GA; sister: Vernell Thomas, Riveria Beach, FL; and 6 great grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 22, 2016.  Funeral service will be at St. James AME Church at 12:00 PM, Friday, December 23, 2016.

Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Bartow, FL.
